Age you took your first photo? 17 – Sony Cybershot

When did you realize that you wanted to be a professional photographer? Following a period of two years lying in the dark with chronic daily migraines, photography became my therapy and I was subseqeuntly fortunate enough to turn it into a professional career.

Who inspires you? My wife

What camera do you use to capture most of your work? A variety of different Nikon bodies.

If I could photograph anyone in the world, alive or deceased, it would be…. Mohammad Ali – so much charisma.

What do you do when not taking photos? Hike, Ski, Find the nearest beach to relax on, Watch my beloved Spurs.

Favorite place on earth? South Island New Zealand

One piece of advice for someone at the beginning stages of their photography career? Shoot what you love – it will show through in your images.

How do you “Live The Moment”? I’m always living the moment – I practise mindfulness to be more aware and appreciative of each minute and try to avoid getting caught up too much in the hustle and bustle of every day life. You never know when you may miss a great shot.
