Meet Graham Bartholomew, a seasoned unit still photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa. Specializing in capturing compelling images on film and television sets, Graham's work is integral to the publicity and marketing of major productions. As a proud member of the Society of Motion Picture Still Photographers (SMPSP), his portfolio includes high-profile projects like Columbia Pictures’ Bloodshot, featuring Vin Diesel.
Graham’s Top Photography Tip?
Always be ready, and know what your camera settings are at all times. Those magical moments can take place within seconds and can easily be missed.
With my Blackrapid double strap, I feel like I’m ready for a shootout in a Western, with my finger always on the trigger.

Photoshoot experience:
Getting a last-minute call to capture a first-look image for the film Serenity with Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway, we were on the back of a fishing boat and had to quickly wrangle the two actors after the scene had been completed. With the crew busy moving gear and taking down lights, I literally had seconds to capture the shot.
